Divorce. That's a word that strikes up depression and all sorts of other negative feelings. Well... for most people, anyway. I'm not saying going through it is pleasant to me, but maybe it's just my way to pick up and move on.

Don't get me wrong, I love Carlos. I always will. He helped me so much, and we learned a lot from each other. I just, I guess that I wasn't ready for a commitment like that? I woke up one morning and sat staring at the ceiling with a slow numbing running through my veins that told me I was not happy.

You shouldn't commit to a person you want to change everything about.

So it's ending, and a new chapter in my life is beginning. I'm looking forward to what the future holds, I'm just hoping it holds happiness and some semblance of stability.

Though, in the words of a friend, "What will happen, will happen."
